CranioSacral Therapy
RELEASES DEEP TENSION AND ENHANCES YOUR BODY’S NATURAL HEALING ABILITY WHAT IS IT?
Your central nervous system, including the cerebrospinal fluid that protects your brain and spinal cord, play a large role in your general health and well-being. CranioSacral Therapy is a form of bodywork that involves a gentle application of force in specific directions to the bones of the head, spinal column, and sacrum. This therapy seeks to restore the natural position of these bones, eliminate restrictions, decrease stress from chronic injuries, improve the functioning of your central nervous system, and enhance your body’s natural healing ability.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive approach to release tension deep in your body to relieve pain, stress, dysfunction, and improve whole-body health and performance.

How do we perform it?
We use gentle touch to evaluate your cranial and spinal bones and monitor the rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid flowing around your central nervous system. By using our hands to carefully “listen” for areas of weak fluid flow or tissue motion, we attempt to trace areas of dysfunction to the source of your problem. We will then apply light pressure to any problem areas detected to release restrictions or blockages. We may also support your arms, legs, and spine while helping your body release tension.
